About

The Maritime Transportation System Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MTS-ISAC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving cybersecurity resilience across the maritime sector.

Founded to serve the unique needs of ports, terminals, vessel operators, and maritime infrastructure stakeholders, the MTS-ISAC operates as a trusted coordination and information-sharing body that supports both public- and private-sector partners.

Our Mission

To enhance the cyber resilience of the global maritime transportation system through collaboration, timely threat intelligence sharing, and operational support.

What We Do

The MTS-ISAC provides:

• Threat intelligence sharing focused on maritime IT, OT, and IIoT environments
• Cyber risk awareness and best practice dissemination
• Incident response coordination support
• Working groups and technical collaboration forums
• Workforce development and training alignment
• Support for evolving maritime cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements

We operate on the principle that resilience is built through shared awareness and collective action.

Who We Serve

Our stakeholders include:

• Port authorities and terminal operators
• Shipping lines and cruise operators
• Maritime logistics and supply chain entities
• Government agencies and regulators
• Technology vendors and integrators supporting maritime infrastructure

The maritime ecosystem depends on interconnected systems and trusted relationships. The MTS-ISAC provides a neutral platform where those relationships strengthen security rather than create vulnerability.

Our Approach

We are not a regulator.
We are not a vendor.
We are a collaborative hub.

Through structured information exchange, working groups, and coordinated engagement, the MTS-ISAC helps reduce risk across the maritime supply chain and improve the sector’s ability to anticipate, withstand, and recover from cyber incidents.
